年齢層別にみた高齢者の歩行速度および歩行変動係数―地域在住高齢者270名を対象とした横断研究

要旨：［目的］高齢者とは65歳以上といった幅広い層を指す名称にもかかわらず，これまでの身体機能評価を用いた研究では「高齢者」と一括りにして報告されている．本研究では，高齢者を年齢層により分類し，各層における歩行機能を比較検討した．［対象・方法］対象は地域在住高齢者270名および若年者60名である．高齢者を前期高齢者，後期高齢者，超高齢者に分類し，若年者と合わせて4群間で，単一課題条件および二重課題条件での歩行速度および歩行周期時間の変動を比較検討した．［結果］どの評価項目においても高齢者の年齢層間で有意な差を認めたものの，若年者―前期高齢者間ではどの評価においても有意な差を認めなかった．また，歩行周期時間の変動では二重課題条件にすることで，単一課題条件では認められなかった年齢層間の差が認められた．［結語］高齢者の身体機能を評価する際には，年齢層に分類して評価する必要性が示唆された．
