脳画像をみるための基礎知識

はじめに

　CT（computed tomography）は1970年代より，MRI（magnetic resonance imaging）は1980年代より普及し，現在では画像診断は脳損傷の診断や予後，治療方針を決定する不可欠なツールとして確立されている．フィルムの時代では理学療法士が詳細に確認する機会は少なかった脳画像であるが，電子カルテ化や病診連携における医療画像データの共有化などにより，脳画像を読影できる環境は整いつつある．

　本稿では，脳の機能解剖およびCT・MRを中心に脳画像の種類と特徴について説明し，リハビリテーション部門での利用意義について報告する．
