はじめに

 リハビリテーションを含む医療分野において,さまざまなロボットが研究,開発され,その臨床応用への道が開かれつつある.しかし,患者を取り巻く開発者,医療従事者双方で,それらが臨床現場でどのように使われるべきであるか,その方法は確立されていないのが現状である.

 本稿は,筆者が産業医科大学大学院医学研究科リハビリテーション医学講座に在籍中に行った,歩行支援ロボットGait-Assistance Robotを用いた研究成果の一部である.興味深い結果が得られたので,ご紹介したい.
