観念失行と観念運動失行

はじめに

　失行はLiepmann^1）によってその病態が報告されて以来，100年余りの時を経過しているが，そのメカニズムや治療方法がいまだ十分に解明されない謎めいた高次脳機能障害である．教科書的な定義に従えば，失行とは運動麻痺や感覚障害などがないにもかかわらず，習熟した動作ができない状態である^2）．失行という用語は，発語失行，口腔顔面失行，構成失行，着衣失行など，ほかの症状名にも用いられているが，本稿では四肢の失行に限って解説することにしたい．
