Point

●患者の全体像や神経学的所見(Neurological Level of Injury:NLI,麻痺の重症度)や脊髄損傷特有の合併症の有無を十分に評価したうえで,目標や介入方法を設定する必要がある

●歩行能力改善のためには,神経可塑の観点,運動学的観点の両面からみたポイントを踏まえたうえで,適切な環境(機器・装具の利用含む)でのインテンシブな歩行練習が有効である

●重症例においては,歩行練習に加え脊髄損傷特有の起居動作,移乗動作,車椅子操作の獲得が必要である
