はじめに

　ジストニア患者の一部に，職業的な運動の反復に関連した症例が存在する。このことは，専門家の間では周知されているが，労働者に直接かかわっている産業保健スタッフにはほとんど知られていないため，実態はつかめていない。われわれは，2003（平成15）年より厚生労働省の精神・神経疾患研究委託費研究「ジストニアの疫学，診断，治療法に関する総合的研究」の一研究課題として，職業性ジストニアの実態を把握するための診断指針の作成や調査を行ってきた。本稿では職業性ジストニアについて概説し，わが国における現状について，特にライン作業やpersonal computer（PC）作業に重点を置いて述べる。
