はじめに
特発性正常圧水頭症(idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus:iNPH)は,治療可能な認知症として以前より知られている疾患である。しかしiNPHにおいてどのような認知機能が障害されやすいのか,あるいはシャント術によってどのような認知機能が改善するのか,などについては必ずしも明確にされてこなかった。本稿では筆者の経験およびこれまでの研究を整理し,iNPHの認知機能障害についてまとめる。
