はじめに

　失行は，運動麻痺や感覚障害などの症候に比べて，症状をとらえることが難しく，適切な評価がなされにくい症候である。その病態機序についても，100年以上にわたって検討が続けられながら，いまだ解明されていない¹⁾。

　本稿では，失行の古典的分類に基づいて，実際の診療に必要となる基本的な事柄を整理する。また，近年に提案されている失行の新しい理解の仕方についても述べる。
