文献概要
ラバーハンド錯覚に象徴的に表されているように,身体保持感は多感覚信号の統合により構成される。島は,側頭頭頂結合や運動前野とともに,脳と身体のインターフェースという特別な位置にあることにより,多感覚統合に重要な役割を果たしている。島,特にその前部はまた,身体内の生理的状態の感覚である内受容感覚が表象され意識される場所でもある。最近の研究は,内受容感覚は視覚や触覚などの外受容感覚と統合され,身体保持感にも影響することを示している。本稿では,身体保持感における島の機能に関する実証的知見と仮説的モデルを紹介する。さらに,そのモデルを内受容感覚の意思決定における意義を説明するために拡張することを試みる。
