記憶の脳回路痕跡

文献概要

記憶はどう保存されて,どう引き出されるのか。これは誰もが抱きうる疑問である。われわれは日々新しい記憶を蓄積させながら,一方で,古い記憶を思い出す。一見,当たり前のように思われるが,われわれの脳はこの過程をどのようにして実現しているのだろうか。この現象の実態に迫る数々の研究がなされている。本稿では,記憶が蓄えられるメカニズムについて,歴史的な背景から最新の知見に至るまで述べていきたい。
