文献概要

シャルコーが「振戦麻痺」を「パーキンソン病」へと改称する際に提示し，「パーキンソン病」の象徴となった症例“バシェール”について，「現代の眼」から再検討した。また，『Nouvelle Iconographie de la Salpêtrière』に掲載されている，「伸展型パーキンソン病」についての論文2編（1889年，1892年）についても検討を行い，その2編に記載された合計4症例，特に症例“レオン”について考察した。伸展型パーキンソン病は，当時はパーキンソン病の一病型として認識されていたが，今ではほとんど聞くことがなく，現在のパーキンソン病とは異なる病態である可能性を指摘した。
