文献概要

多発性硬化症（MS）は空間的多発性および時間的多発性を呈する中枢神経系脱髄疾患である。その診断の中心は頭部／脊椎MRIであり，画像所見は特徴的である。しかしながら，単回のMRI画像や短期間での臨床経過のみではMSを診断することはしばしば難しく，鑑別すべき疾患は多岐にわたる。中枢神経系脱髄疾患の診断は，鑑別すべき疾患と，その疾患を示唆する“red flags”に留意しながら慎重に行う必要がある。
