吃音—『英国王のスピーチ』にみる発話機能の理解

『英国王のスピーチ』は2010年の映画で，吃音に悩まされた英国王ジョージ6世と，その治療にあたったオーストラリア出身の平民である言語聴覚士ライオネル・ローグの友情を史実を基に描いた作品である。映画のシーンを振り返りながら，一見奇妙に思えるローグの治療法や行動の背景になる発話とその障害としての吃音に関して神経科学的に考察する。
