脳卒中の現場における脳神経内科医の存在意義

文献概要

脳卒中診療において脳神経内科医は,急性期再灌流療法(rt-PA静注療法および血栓回収療法)の適応を判断し,stroke mimics,stroke chameleonsを見極め,かつその後に適切な薬剤選択,全身状態の管理を行うことを求められる。そのためには,脳神経内科医が持つ神経症候学に基づく確かな診断力と,内科医としての幅広い知識および洞察力が重要であり,患者の予後を改善することにつながる。
