　日本人の2人に1人は，悪性腫瘍に罹患するといわれています．そのなかで，悪性リンパ腫や白血病など「血液悪性腫瘍」の罹患率は30〜40名/10万人/年で増加の傾向です．日常診療で遭遇することも少なくありません．血液悪性腫瘍の予後は化学療法や分子標的療法の進歩により改善されつつありますが，その裏で治療関連合併症は未だに重大な課題となっています．
　今回は，原疾患と治療により引き起こされる免疫不全状態での感染症にフォーカスを当てて考えてみましょう．
