関節エコーは「痛い」を”見える化”するツールである。2012年に欧州/米国リウマチ学会（EULAR/ACR）がリウマチ性多発筋痛症（polymyalgia rheumatica：PMR）の分類基準にエコー所見を追加して約10年が経つ^1）。甲状腺・頸動脈に用いるリニア型のプローベを手に取り、“そろそろ”関節に当ててみよう。
