いま注目が高まる医療従事者の「ウェルビーイング」—来年4月に医師の労働時間短縮に関する法律が施行されます

文献概要

　2024年4月の医師の時間外労働上限規制の開始を前に、多くの医療従事者の間で「ウェルビーイング」や「ワークライフバランス」への関心が高まっています。そうしたなか、日本プライマリ・ケア連合学会の第14回学術大会（2023年5月12〜14日、愛知県）にて、シンポジウム「仲間を救う！ 医療従事者のためのウェルビーイング」（同学会予防医療・健康増進・産業保健委員会 産業保健チームおよび米国内科学会〔ACP〕日本支部Physicians' Well-being Committeeのコラボレーションシンポジウム）を開催しました。参加者は500名（オンライン含む）を超え、管理職のみならず若手医師からも、具体的かつ真剣な質問を多数いただき、医療従事者のウェルビーイングへの関心の高まりを強く実感しています。そこで本稿では、シンポジウムを開催した背景や概要を報告するとともに、今後の課題についてお伝えします。
