・早朝高血圧は脳・臓器合併症や心血管リスクと有意に関連することが示されている．
・一方でその認識は十分とは言えず，また治療に難渋するケースも少なくない．
・本稿では，早朝高血圧の病態や意義，治療につき考察する．
