・僧帽弁閉鎖不全症（mitral regurgitation;MR）および三尖弁閉鎖不全症（tricuspid regurgitation;TR）に対する経カテーテル治療は，主に手術リスクの高い患者の治療オプションとして登場してきた．
・経カテーテル治療は，既に確立している外科的治療法を多少変更したものであることが多い．カテーテルによるデバイス治療はこれら外科的治療をより少ない手技リスクで真似て行うというのがコンセプトである．
・本稿では，僧帽弁および三尖弁に対する新しいカテーテル治療につき，最新のエビデンスと今後の展望をまとめる．
