Point
・OCTは,IVUSと比較して優れた画像分解能を有しており,プラークの形態の詳細な評価が可能で,冠動脈硬化の進展やプラークの不安定化を生体内で観察できる.
・NIRS-IVUSはIVUSによるプラークの形態評価に加えて脂質コアの存在を評価可能であり,脂質性プラークのサイズをlipid-core burden index(LCBI)により半定量的に評価できる.
・OCTにより確認されるTCFAやマクロファージの浸潤,NIRS-IVUSにより確認される高いmaxLCBI値などが冠動脈イベント発症に関連する可能性があり,今後,イメージングモダリティの進歩とさらなる研究が必要である.
