感染性合併症の予防

Point
・植込みデバイス手術時の感染への対策として最も重要なことは予防であり，感染性合併症に対する予防的観点を十分に含んだ植込みの基本的手技を十分に習得することが必要である．
・植込みデバイスの感染性合併症の診断は，解決されていない問題を含んでいることから後手に回ることもしばしばだが，診断の遅れは最終的に致死につながることに留意する．
・植込みデバイスの感染性合併症の治療の大原則は「すべての人工物をいったん取り去り，抗菌薬などで十分な治療を行う」である．これは経皮的リード抜去と外科的処置の組み合わせによって実施されるが，しばしば困難を伴う．
