Point
・高齢者は冠動脈のみならず全身での動脈硬化が進行しており，PCI治療を行う場合は，冠動脈病変そのものが複雑であることに加え，アクセスルートの動脈硬化と，腎機能の低下を考慮する必要がある．
・動脈硬化の進んだ高齢者の病変には，高度石灰化病変や，完全閉塞性病変の割合が多い．高齢者のPCIでは，特にこの2つの複雑病変を，低侵襲かつ安全に治療することが重要となる．
