Point
・24時間のすべての心電図を記録でき，不整脈，虚血性心疾患の診断に有用である．自律神経機能の評価にも使用される．
・発作頻度が高い症例が適しており，記録中に発作が起こるように普段通りの生活を行うよう事前に説明することが重要である．
・ある程度の自動解析はされるが，最終的には医師の目による判読が欠かせない．
