Point
・心筋炎の劇症化には，サイトカインストームが関与していると考えられる．
・劇症型心筋炎の治療では，補助循環装置の適応を見誤らないことが重要である．
・補助循環装置は単なるブリッジではなく，サイトカインストームの改善にも寄与している可能性がある．
・補助循環装置が必要になったら，適応があれば心移植または補助人工心臓装着が可能な施設と連携を図ることも重要である．
