感染制御の経済―感染のコストと予防への投資

〔SUMMARY〕　エビデンスに基づいた感染制御のあり方を論じる研究がなされる一方で，限られた資源の中で最大の効果を得るには，効果とともに費用を適切に評価していく必要がある．このテーマは社会的重要性が大きいにもかかわらず未開拓の研究領域といえよう．本稿は，感染制御の各種対策に要する費用，抗生剤使用量削減による経済的な影響の分析，感染制御システムの維持に要する費用計算結果などを提示し，感染制御に関する安全性の確保・維持に関する重要な理論・概念と費用推計について論じる．〔臨床検査　49：607-614，2005〕
