骨粗鬆症とは(定義と分類)

　骨粗鬆症の定義として，①「低骨量と骨微細構造の劣化」(国際コンセンサス会議)，②「骨強度の低下と骨折リスクの増大」(NIHのコンセンサス会議)，③脆弱性骨折，④骨形態計測，⑤X線写真の骨粗鬆化，⑥骨密度(WHOの診断カテゴリー)，⑦脆弱性骨折の有無と低骨量(日本の診断基準)などが提唱されている．骨粗鬆症は，①原発性と続発生，②骨吸収亢進型と骨形成低下型，③骨代謝マーカーの測定値から分類される．
