WPW症候群

　WPW(Wolff-Parkinson-White)症候群は，先天的に心房心室間に非生理的な異常伝導路(副伝導路)が存在する病態であり，副伝導路を介した頻拍発作が臨床的に問題となる．心電図上は，洞調律中に心室の早期興奮がデルタ波として確認できる顕性WPW症候群のほか，逆行伝導のみでデルタ波は出現しないが，頻拍発作の原因となる潜在性WPW症候群がある．現在では，カテーテルアブレーションによって高率かつ安全に副伝導路を離断できるため，臨床的な症候や発作によってリスクを持つ可能性のある症例は積極的にアブレーション治療を行っている．
