心臓突然死

　心臓突然死の主要な原因は重症心室性不整脈で，器質的心疾患のために心機能が低下した症例には発症のリスクが高い．心室性不整脈の発症を予測することは困難であるが，再発性であり厳重な検査と治療が必要である．薬物，カテーテルアブレーション，植え込み型除細動器(ICD)を総合的に用いて治療を行うが，二次予防(心肺蘇生の既往例，心室細動・持続性心室頻拍がすでに確認されている症例)ではICDが治療の基本となる．
