テトラマー

　獲得免疫反応においては，抗原特異的T細胞が重要な役割を担っていると考えられている．しかし，生体内での存在頻度をそのまま明らかにすることは容易ではなく，精密な定量化は困難であった．近年，MHC/抗原ペプチドテトラマーと呼ばれるMHCとペプチドの複合体の4量体が開発され，これを蛍光標識してフローサイトメトリーに用いることにより，これらの問題を回避して抗原特異的T細胞を定量的に解析することが可能になった．感染症，悪性腫瘍，自己免疫疾患などにおいて，テトラマーを使用した解析が多く報告され，今後これらの疾患の検査や治療計画作成の一助となる技術として発展していくことも予想される．
