一酸化窒素(nitric oxide,以下NOと略記)は生体内では酵素によって生成される.NOは血圧調節,血小板凝集抑制,生体防御,中枢および末梢神経系での神経伝達に重要な役割を果たしている.生体内NOを測定する方法,および病態との関連について概略を述べる.
