単層および積層フィルムを用いる測定法(検査のSPOT化)

はじめに

　SPOT(satellite and physician's office testing)¹⁾は大型の測定機器などを必要としない簡便で迅速に行える検査の総称で，開業医，検査室での割り込み検査，病棟や出先の施設での検査，患者自身が行う検査などが含まれる．またSPOT検査は注目されているPOCT(point of care test)^1,2)，すなわち患者のかたわらの治療の場における即時検査と，簡便性や短時間測定等が要求される点で共通する．SPOTは，簡便で測定に熟練を必要としない広い項目をカバーする一般検査と考えてよい．一方，POCTはベットサイド検査が中心で，検査データを直ぐ治療の選択に活用するため検査項目も緊急性を要するものが中心で，感度や定量性を要求する項目測定には小型の簡易測定装置を用いることも多い．

　本稿では，生化学検査や免疫測定検査を中心に実際に市販され実用に供してきたSPOT検査，すなわち簡易測定法の開発の経緯を概説し，現在簡易検査の主流となりつつある本題の単層および積層フィルムを用いる測定法について紹介したい．
