Guillain-Barré症候群と自己抗体

　Guillain-Barré症候群(GBS)は感染後に引き起こされる急性ニューロパチーで，比較的頻度の高い神経免疫疾患である．一部の症例は，Campylobacter jejuni感染後に発症し，同菌のリポオリゴ糖と末梢神経に存在するガングリオシドとの間の分子相同性による自己抗体産生が原因と考えられている．本稿では，GBSの病態における抗ガングリオシド抗体の役割に関して最近の知見を中心に解説する．
