ERC/mesothelin/MPF：血清診断の試み

1．はじめに

　ヒト中皮腫のごく初期病変はいかなる状態であるのか，病理学的にも不明な点が多く，胸膜肥厚以前の病理像の知見が乏しい．現在でも有効な治療法がない難治性の本疾患にとって，X線などの画像で異常が発見されるよりも前に初期の小さな病変を見つけることは目下の急務である．多段階発癌過程を考慮に入れれば，アスベストによる中皮腫でも当然，初期病変の存在は予測される．簡便で繰り返し検査が可能な中皮腫の血液測定キットは，膨大な数にのぼるアスベスト曝露群に対する1次スクリーニング法として有用である．
