唾液検査の現状と近未来

文献購入ページに移動 唾液検査による全身疾患の診断のキーワードは,バイオチップ,バイオセンサ,バイオマーカーの3つである.唾液検査は,確かに安全性や自己採取・随時採取が可能であるなど,血液検査に比べて圧倒的に優位な点を有するが,これらだけでは全身疾患の診断技術を確立するのは難しい.唾液検体の採取/濃縮技術,迅速・低コスト・高感度な分析技術が驚異的な進歩を遂げる今,唾液検査の実用化の鍵を握るのは,既存の診断方法よりも圧倒的に優れているか,もしくは新たな付加価値を創造するような,唾液バイオマーカーの使い方であると考える.現在は,口腔疾患や感染症の唾液検査が一部で実用化されているのみであるが,ポイント・オブ・ケア検査では,近い将来,様々な全身疾患の唾液検査が可能となっていくであろう.
