唾液検査で排卵が予知できるか？

1．はじめに

　排卵の予知は，生殖年齢のカップルにとって2つの意味がある．妊娠したいカップルは排卵に合わせて性交を行うことが推奨され，逆に妊娠を望まないカップルはその時期に何らかの避妊法を行うという2つの意味である．女性が，月経後毎日婦人科診察を受ければ，排卵時期が正確にわかるのは自明であるが現実的ではない．そこで，生殖年齢の女性が自己検査可能で，経済的で簡便，大きな負担なく行え，持続可能な方法でかつ有効性が高い排卵予知検査が望ましい．本稿では，その可能性があると思われるミニ顕微鏡とOvaCUE fertility monitor^1,2)の2つの器機による排卵予知に焦点を当てて総説する．
