6) 新型インフルエンザ

新型インフルエンザウイルスに対しては，ほとんどの国民が免疫を獲得しておらず，ワクチン開発に対する社会的要求は極めて高い．実際，2009年春にPandemic(H1N1)2009ウイルスが新型インフルエンザウイルスとして世界的に流行し，ワクチンの開発がすぐに開始された．本稿では，Pandemic(H1N1)2009およびH5N1ウイルスによるパンデミックに対するワクチンに関する知見を取りまとめることで，次の新型インフルエンザウイルスの流行時までに残された課題を明らかにしたい．
