疾患に関するmRNAとmiRNAの検出法とその問題点

種々の疾患にメッセンジャーRNA(mRNA)が関与していることは明白であるが，近年解析が進んできた約20～24塩基長のノンコーディングRNAであるmiRNA(マイクロRNA)も疾患に関与していることが明らかになりつつある．本稿では疾患に関与するmRNAとmiRNAを解析していく際に用いられている種々の実験手法の中で，現時点でよく使われている方法を中心に，定量方法，発現プロファイルの取得法，in situ hybridizationなどの検出方法について，その原理，長所，短所について解説する．
