認知症と生活習慣

多くの観察研究の結果からは,認知症ないしはアルツハイマー病(Alzheimer disease;AD)の危険因子として,遺伝的危険因子〔アポリポ蛋白E(ApoE)ε4〕,血管性危険因子(高血圧,糖尿病,高コレステロール血症),喫煙が挙げられ,防御因子としては定期的な運動,食事因子,余暇活動,社会参加,活発な精神活動,認知訓練,適度な飲酒が挙げられている1).血管性危険因子や生活習慣については,食事・運動などの介入により認知症の予防効果が期待される.
