認知症と生活習慣

1．はじめに

　多くの観察研究の結果からは，認知症ないしはアルツハイマー病(Alzheimer disease；AD)の危険因子として，遺伝的危険因子〔アポリポ蛋白E(ApoE)ε4〕，血管性危険因子(高血圧，糖尿病，高コレステロール血症)，喫煙が挙げられ，防御因子としては定期的な運動，食事因子，余暇活動，社会参加，活発な精神活動，認知訓練，適度な飲酒が挙げられている¹⁾．血管性危険因子や生活習慣については，食事・運動などの介入により認知症の予防効果が期待される．
