Question 43　便潜血検査による大腸がんスクリーニングの有用性と限界について教えてください

ポイント

・免疫法便潜血検査(免疫法FOBT)は大腸がん検診法である．かつてと違い，現在では臨床検査法としての意義は限られる．

・FOBTの大腸がん検診法としての有効性については，がん検診の中でも最も確実な科学的根拠がある．複数のランダム化比較試験の一致した結果により，死亡率減少効果が確立している．がん検診法は内視鏡検査など診断検査とは異なり，その有効性の指標は死亡率である．
