自覚的視性垂直位検査

1．はじめに

　自覚的視性垂直位検査(subjective visual vertical；SVV)は，暗室で自覚的な垂直位を計測し，実際の垂直位(客観的な垂直位)とのずれを測定する検査である．めまい・平衡障害の機能検査としてのSVV測定の主たる目的は耳石器，前庭神経および中枢における重力認知経路の機能評価である．SVV測定は他の耳石器機能検査のような大きな器具を必要とせず，患者に苦痛を与えず，短時間でできる．自覚的視性水平位(subjective visual horizontal；SVH)を測定している施設もあるが，SVVとSVHに本質的な違いはないと考えられる．
