尿中前立腺癌遺伝子3（PCA3）

■前立腺癌遺伝子3（PCA3）アッセイでは尿中のPCA3mRNAが測定される．

■PCA3スコアは癌に対する特異度が高く，血清前立腺特異抗原（PSA）や前立腺容積（PV）とは相関しない．

■既存の検討因子にPCA3スコアを追加することで，より正確に癌存在の有無を予測することができる．

■PCA3スコアを用いることでinsignificant cancerを予測することが可能となり，PSA監視療法の対象患者の選択に有用である．
