菌の基本情報

1．性状と特徴

・通性嫌気性グラム陽性球菌，連鎖状の配列を形成．

・鞭毛を有さず，芽胞を形成しない．

・β溶血性，時に非溶血性．

・Lancefieldによる細胞壁群特異的多糖体（C多糖体，C-polysaccharide）の抗原性に基づく分類でB群に分類される．さらに莢膜多糖体の抗原性によりⅠa，Ⅰb，Ⅱ，Ⅲ，Ⅳ，Ⅴ，Ⅵ，Ⅶ，Ⅷ，Ⅸの10の血清型に型別される．

・健常人では無症候性に腸管，腟，膀胱，咽頭に保菌．特に妊婦の10〜35％が腟，直腸に保菌．
