菌の基本情報

1．性状と特徴^1〜3）

・偏性嫌気性グラム陽性桿菌である．

・0.5×6〜8μmの周毛性鞭毛を有する．

・芽胞を形成し，莢膜をもたない．芽胞は亜端在性で楕円形（図1）．

・糞便は一度アルコールで1時間処理してから培養に用いる．

・培地はCCFA（cycloserine cefoxitin fructose agar）寒天培地やCCMA（cycloserine cefoxitin mannitol ager）寒天培地といった選択培地を使い，嫌気条件下で培養をする．

・培養開始後24時間で微少コロニーを形成し，48時間で3〜5mmの黄色のラフ型集落を形成する（図2）．

・集落に紫外線（ultraviolet ray：UV）を照射すると黄色〜黄緑色の蛍光を発する（図3）．

・トキシンを産生し偽膜性腸炎を起こす．

・接触感染により院内感染を起こす．

・環境中に長期間（芽胞形成菌は5カ月）^4）生存する．

・アルコール消毒は無効である．
