Point

●百日咳は，世界的にみてもワクチンでは十分にコントロールできていない．

●海外ではサーベイランスが充実しており，重症化しやすい乳児を守るための対策を実施している．

●国内の百日咳サーベイランスには多くの制約があり，正確な疾病負荷を把握しきれていない．

●わが国の百日咳対策として，追加接種や，成人へ接種可能なワクチンの認可を検討する必要性がある．
