睡眠時無呼吸症候群と高血圧

●睡眠時無呼吸症候群(SAS)は,治療抵抗性高血圧の原因であることが多く,高血圧症を治療する場合,鑑別の1つとして考える必要がある.
●睡眠中に無呼吸が起こると低酸素から交感神経活性化を介して夜間高血圧,早朝高血圧をきたすが,長期罹患重症例は,昼間の高血圧の原因にもなる.
●重症例においては,持続陽圧呼吸療法(CPAP)などによる積極的な加療により,血圧コントロールが改善する症例も認める.
