腎動脈：線維筋性異形成（FMD）

Point

●中・小動脈を侵す過形成疾患であり，腎動脈，頸部動脈，腸骨動脈，上腕動脈，冠動脈などに発生する比較的まれな疾患である．

●わが国での発生頻度は0.02〜0.5％程度と非常に低く，若年〜中年女性に多いとされているが，男性での報告例も少なからず認められる．

●病理組織学的には，非動脈硬化性，非炎症性の血管病変である．

●近年，画像診断による腎動脈の形態のみで，狭窄が複数箇所でみられる数珠状狭窄に代表される“multifocal FMD”と，狭窄が1箇所のみの“unifocal FMD”に分類する動きがある．
