Point

●髄膜腫では遺伝子変異と臨床学的特徴との関連を認める．特にTERTプロモーター変異は臨床経過を予測する有用な分子マーカーであることが示唆されている．

●髄膜腫では，遺伝子変異以外に，網羅的なメチル化に基づく新たな分類法の有用性も報告されている．

●扁平上皮乳頭型頭蓋咽頭腫ではBRAF V600E変異を認め，MAPKシグナル伝達経路を阻害する標的薬の有効性が報告されている．

●良性脳腫瘍でも遺伝子変異による新しい腫瘍分類や，遺伝子変異に合わせた標的治療を採用するprecision medicineが発展しつつある．
