●造血器腫瘍のWHO分類第5版が，Leukemia誌上の概要版とウェブサイトベータ版という2つの形で公表された．

●造血器腫瘍発症の前駆状態を反映するクローン性造血のカテゴリーが新設され，CHIPとCCUSの2病態が正式に定義された．

●“genetic tumor syndromes”というカテゴリーが設けられた．骨髄系腫瘍を好発する遺伝性腫瘍症候群としてFanconi貧血（FA）とRASopathyが代表的である．
