Point

●手根管症候群(CTS)は非常に頻度の高い絞扼性末梢神経障害である.詳しい機序は不明であるが,屈筋支帯が硬化して正中神経を圧迫することで発症する.

●確実な診断のためには神経伝導速度検査が必要であるが,検査機器,技術,時間などに問題点がある.

●現時点では,超音波検査は診断や治療効果判定の補助的な位置付けであるが,今後,その重要性は増すであろう.
