COVID-19における白血球の形態学的変化

●形質細胞に類似した異型リンパ球は比較的軽症の患者や病状が回復に向かう患者において認められる．
●末梢血への幼若顆粒球の出現や偽Pelger核異常は重症の患者において認められる．
●空胞を豊富に有する単球は比較的軽症の患者において認められ，一方で大型の単球は重症の患者において認められる．
●末梢血塗抹標本を用いた形態学的検査は病態のモニタリングに適しており，臨床検査技師は形態学的変化に関する知識のアップデートや検査の標準化に努めることで，より的確な病態把握に貢献することができると考えられる．
